Have just returned from the wonderful Kimberley where I discovered ‘road drawing’ – bouncing along the Gibb River Road in a Merc 4wd coach, and letting the pen dance across the paper to draw boab trees, spinifex, land forms and so on.

Still working on the Medusa series – prints, portraits and paintings.

Open studios at Rivers last weekend. But this photo was from Open Drawer’s Transparency exhibition in May.

Cannot believe how quickly this year is passing. In my birthland, the first of May is a day to celebrate the Goddess of nature – maypoles etc, and all those references, phallic, fertility, green-ness, new growth…..

…today I mourn the fact that my treasured rusty items busily dyeing some small granite blocks in my garden have been moved. L denies it of course but who else would it be ? Art being tampered with. Bugger.
